Thanksgiving Offering

How funds will be used

Each November we collect a special offering which is used to support specific local and global missions. This year’s Thanksgiving Offering will support three initiatives that include a global and local emphasis as well as our ongoing efforts to meet needs in our community.

To contribute, checks can be dropped off or mailed to the church, just make sure to include a note that it is for the Thanksgiving Offering. You can also give online by clicking here and choosing "Thanksgiving Fund".

Davisville's Care Fund

We continue to have the opportunity to meet tangible needs in our community. When times get tough, people naturally look to the church, and we have been able to help numerous people by assisting with rent, utilities, car payments, food, and emergency shelter. A portion of this year’s Thanksgiving offering will be earmarked specifically for meeting needs in our community.

Local Outreach—LEAD English School

In September, we began our English learning school which is called LEAD (Learning English at Davisville). In our first semester, we have 72 students from 18 countries representing 12 different heart languages! This has been an incredible start to a new ministry. With the rapid growth comes opportunities to step further into serving this growing community in our own backyard. Your support of this year’s Thanksgiving offering will help us bless local families and grow our new network of relationships through training, special events, and the development of key community partnerships.

Global Outreach—World Team Global Member Care Project Fund

Together with World Team, we support 9 missionaries around the world. Do you have a heart that cares deeply for the resiliency and emotional health of these missionaries, and the safety & care of their children? World Team does too, and one of the ways they do this is providing proactive counseling care & community on the mission field. By giving to the WT Global Member Care Project Fund, you will help their team be better equipped to holistically care for missionary personnel around the world.”
