Grace Giving

Debt Free in 2022

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:7

Dear Davisville family,

We now believe the time is right to aggressively pursue paying off the remaining $400,000 of our final mortgage. Our goal is to pay it off in the next 2 years which will allow us to avoid a likely interest rate increase, and free up almost $100,000 annually in our budget. Imagine the freedom this would provide to pursue greater ministry and missions engagement, as well as to continue upgrading and properly maintaining our facilities.

God has called each one of us to Davisville at this time in history and has allowed us to enjoy the results of the sacrifice of others. Now he calls us to take the next step of faith to provide a place where future generations can experience God’s love and hear the message of hope and grace. It is our turn and we can all play a part. As we move forward to eliminate our debt by paying down our final mortgage, it will require sacrifice and commitment. But as we step forward in faith, we once again anticipate God working in great ways for His glory!

Joining you on the journey,

Pastor Tim

Pastor Dave explains Grace Giving

You can give online by using the button below. Just choose the fund "Grace Giving" when making your contribution. You can also set up a recurring gift, making it convenient to give to Grace Giving over the course of the next two years as we seek to accomplish our goal.

We have the opportunity to partner together in pursuing this goal of paying off our debt. Over the next several weeks, we're asking that we all pray, discuss and, if God is leading us to, commit to giving toward Grace Giving. We'll take time in our services on March 29th to give our initial gifts, our first fruits offering and for us to collectively say as a church family, "We're In!"

Once we are debt free:

We are dreaming of several substantial endeavors that we will be better positioned to pursue if the mortgage is paid off. Renovating and modernizing both of our gyms spaces will have a direct impact on ministry engagement and effectiveness for the next generation. Supporting and launching our next missions special focus area, similar to what we did in Cambodia, will help fulfill our mission of reaching the most unreached with the gospel of Jesus. Ministry initiatives here in our community can be furthered through a larger base of support. These are just a few of the dreams we’re processing and we invite you to dream with us too! Your input as to how we’ll fulfill our vision and purpose is vital.
