What a great Difference Maker month! Over 200 people stepped out and served with one of our local partners, displaying the love of Jesus in tangible ways. We believe this was just the beginning. You can continue to make a difference by joining a team that is commited to fighting human trafficking, serving the refugee/immigrant population, caring for the homeless or coming alongside the elderly in the following ways.
Human Trafficking—Providing meals, transportation and hospitality for the Worth It Program are just some of the ways you can get involved in supporting women impacted by human trafficking.
Refugee/Immigrant—This active team is exploring next steps to serve the growing refuge and immigrant population in our community. Helping people learn English, transportation, providing meals, hosting families, and helping with translation are some of the practical ways you can help.
Homelessness—This population often goes unnoticed. Making and serving meals, transportation, and helping people get back on their feet are some of the ways we are seeking to make a difference.
Elderly Care—Our newest team is ready to not only brainstorm creative ideas but also get out and serve our oldest community members to let them know that they are loved.

Although Difference Maker Month has ended, there's still time to participate in the food pantry collections and the baby bottle drive. Please bring your items back to church on Sunday, May 5.

Food Pantry Collection - The Jesus Focus Pantry is in need of boxes of cereal and jars of peanut butter and jelly. Helping Hands Rescue Mission is collecting canned goods. Please bring unexpired items to the church throughout the month of April to help out these two ministries.
Choice One Baby Bottle Drive - Help support the Choice One Pregnancy and Resource Center by filling baby bottles with loose change and other monetary donations. Bottles will be available for pick up in April. You can also donate online by clicking here.
